The Metastasis Mural
Inspired by Michael Pollen’s book, ‘The Omnivore’s Dilemma’, this huge oil painting (5 x 12 feet) was commissioned by Robert Smith for his private apartment near Heavenly Village, South Lake Tahoe. Designs began in 2017, and the final brushstroke was laid down on Christmas Eve, 2020.
The Art of Ashtanga
These drawings are part of a collaboration with yoga master Laura Josephy of Tahoe Yoga Shala.
Laura commissioned drawings of every Asana (pose) in the Aṣṭāṅga Primary Series for the training manual to accompany her Teacher Training and Mysore Style Apprenticeship in 2019.
Sierra House Mural
I was asked to paint a mural at my daughter’s school in 2015, on the theme of the decline of the pollinators. The school has a strong connection with nature, healthy living and science. The mural was funded by UC Davis CALFresh Program.
