Guided tours are free, and last about an hour. Refreshments are available – tea, coffee, kombucha. I’ll show you around, and talk about the work – what inspired me, techniques, and ideas. No experience of art is necessary. I taught college-level art for many years at Lake Tahoe Community College. I am happy to tailor the conversation to your interests. Students can also take a tour, and learn about art history, careers in art, materials, techniques and working artist life.
All art is for sale, but there is no pressure to buy. Signed limited prints are available for most artworks, and cost $150.
Note: Access is exclusive to free guided tours with me, members and day pass holders. These are not public buildings.
Our Partnership
Owners Jamie & David Orr have collected and supported my work for over 10 years. Jamie is a theoretical physicist who has also studied art history. Our shared interest in the relationships between art and physics, nature and community has generated this partnership.
Hanging my work in this space is a dream come true. The architecture is perfect for art. It has large windows and polished metal handrails. The floor plan is a labyrinth extending over three stories. You can get happily lost in the art adventure.
What are Untethered’s values?
“Each member of our coworking space has chosen to live deliberately in Lake Tahoe. They want to partake in the lifestyle our area offers. Our goal is to provide a highly collaborative environment for people to work, learn, and grow their businesses. We also aim to offer access to all of Tahoe’s great amenities. We cherish our region and strive to support the entire community that we are a part of. We are a group of individuals who want to work hard, play hard, and prosper in South Lake Tahoe.“
