Dusk

Something brought me here, but I didn’t know what until this moment. Trust the process, breathes the gentle waves at my feet. Gritty sand between my toes, open wound on my sole bleeding into the sea. Something like peace opening behind my eyes, lines from a song I liked in another lifetime.
