Study for The Japanese Garden

On the edge of Spring, bare branches hold the promise of wild colour at their tips. Energetic limbs clothed in neon moss and silver lichen weave through spaces, searching for light. Water under an ancient bridge, finds a bubbling path over silent stone, smoothed by years of passage. Low devotional sounds are faintly audible. A bass-hum from the forest too.

Sakura are coming, sakura are coming..
